BOAT RENTALS:
You now require a Pleasure Craft Operator Card if you are planning on renting a boat. You will find all the information at www.boaterexam.com
PEDAL BOATS AND KAYAKS:
These are available FREE OF CHARGE for use by the registered guests in the resort. Please bring your own life jackets or you may rent one at the cost of $5.00 per week. Please bring life jackets for your children.
CHILDREN:
Under three years of age, no extra charge. All others considered a person.
EXTRA PERSONS:
We do not permit extra persons in any of the cottages.
DEPOSIT:
A deposit of $250 per cottage per week, or $180 per weekend, is required to confirm a reservation. If a cancellation occurs, the deposit is refundable, minus a $30 administration fee, provided the cancellation is received 21 days prior to arrival date except for July & August, in which case June lst is the last date of refunds.
RESERVATIONS:
All reservations between June 26th and Sept 4th are weekly only,. Saturday to Saturday. No deductions will be made for late arrivals or early departures. No refunds for early departures or late arrivals.
LIFE JACKETS:
A maximum of 4 Life jackets are supplied for adults renting a 14 foot boat for a day or week. A maximum of 10 life jackets are supplied for the pontoon boat. Please bring life jackets for your children.
PAYMENT:
Payment is due upon arrival and can be made by Cash, Visa, Mastercard or Interac.
PETS:
Small dogs are welcome based on prior arrangement with the management (max. l per cottage). Pets may not sleep on the beds, should be leashed, kept quiet and not left alone at the Resort at any time and you must "poop and scoop". There is a $35.00 charge per pet per stay. Pets are not permitted in and around the beach and swimming area.
MOTOR RENTALS:
Motor rental does not cover damage to the motor. You are liable for damages. A $500 pre-authorization on credit card is required as a damage deposit and a signed motor rental agreement are required for all rentals. Every person renting a boat must possess a Pleasure Craft Operator Card.
ARRIVAL:
All guests are required to register themselves and their vehicle at the Office upon arrival.
CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT TIME:
Check-in time is 4 p.m. Check-out time is 10 a.m. for all weekly rentals during the High Season. For Spring and Fall rentals, check-out time can be later than l0.00 if arranged ahead of time, in some cases, and this is subject to availability.
TAXES:
All rates are subject to a 5% Goods and Services Tax and a Provincial Sales Tax of 5% on accommodation and 8% on all other rentals. (at time of printing). If approved, the Harmonized Sales Tax of 13% will replace the Goods and Services Tax and Provincial Sales Tax on all rentals.
