GREAT FISHING ON UPPER BUCKHORN
LAKE
The chain of lakes on which Shady Point Resort is located comprises
Upper Buckhorn Lake, Upper Chemong Lake, Pigeon Lake , Big &
Little Bald Lakes.
We have over 1700 feet of shoreline. Buckhorn Lake is well known
for its excellent fishing whether it is crappie, carp, perch. blue
gill,
large and small mouth bass, walleye or the king of them all the
fighting muskie you will find them here.
And for our European friends we have some very large and abundant
Common Carp which average 25lbs. Some have been caught often up
to 38lbs.
Fishing is a great sport around Shady Point.
This is the location to catch that big one you have always been
dreaming about. Muskie, Large and Smallmouth Bass, Pickerel
( Walleye ), Carp and Panfish are all available in Upper Buckhorn
Lake.
Whether you are an experienced angler or new to the sport, you
are sure to have fun. We have a Pontoon Boat for rent.
